I hated normal gyms and just working out by myself, so I thought back to college when I did CrossFit for a couple months and remembered how much I loved it. I googled “CrossFit gyms near me” and CrossFit BangBANG came up. It happened to be the closest one to me, so in late July of 2021 I went to my first class and loved it!I loved having a workout that was already programmed. I loved the super knowledgeable coaches. I loved the gym space and most of all the Community was dope! From the moment I walked in, I wasn’t a stranger to anybody because so many people came up to talk to me and THAT was incredible. I felt like I belonged there.Needless to say, I haven’t looked back! I have been going multiple times a week since then and I’m moving so much better, lifting bigger weights than I have in the past and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for a long time. I started at 214 pounds when I got there and I just hit 189! 25 pounds gone and I’m not done!
I love this gym and the community. I’m proud to be a BANGER!
